Colour Management
Many websites fail to explain the concept of colour management and how this can impact on the finished product. An easy way to visualise it is as follows. You ever been into a major electrical store like Dixons , Currys or Best Buy and see a wall of televisions?
The one thing many people comment on is how different the colours are on each television unit even the same brand or same model. Most people think it is the staff who have failed to set it up correctly, but that is incorrect. This is colour management at its basic level.
Every television or computer monitor will have its own slightly different colour output to some degree. Here at Digitalpig we have a full calibration work-flow from camera to monitor to printer. To a professional this is only to be expected but most customers do not have calibrated monitors and to be fair do not need them.
Please check your settings and make sure your colour space is correct if you are after a more accurate printed image.
